International Students: An Applicant is considered an international student if they require a visa, or currently reside in the U.S. with non-immigrant status, or currently reside in the U.S. while applying for permanent residency.
TOEFL scores and a completed
affidavit of support are also required for international students.
Before completing these application materials, international students should review the Affidavit of Support to make sure you will be able to provide all necessary supporting documentation later on.
All international students must complete an Affidavit of Support to establish that they have proof of funding for their studies and living expenses while attending classes at KUMC. The Affidavit and supporting documentation must be provided prior to the issuance of an I-20 or DS2019. Funding requirements are listed on the Affidavit of Support. If you are accepted into a program at KU, an International Student Advisor will contact you via email and request the Affidavit of Support.
Note: Do not send this form with your application package.
