The clinical trial area is approximately 3300 sq ft and includes 7 large areas for testing infant development, 8 staff and student offices, storage areas for study records and supplies, rooms for assessing visual electrophysiology and evoked response potentials, a room for anthropometric and physiological assessment, conference and family rooms, and several interview rooms. The clinical trial area is supported by the Nutritional Sciences Analytical Lab located in Wescoe. That lab is shared by several Dietetics and Nutrition Department faculty and is the location for studies of biochemical nutritional status of subjects in clinical trials as well as research using cell and animal models to study nutritional requirements.
